There is seldom any disagreement about the fact that two of the most potent words in the English language (and, I suspect, any other ) are thank and you. And when they’re put together and spoken or written with warmth and feeling and heart, they’re almost unbeatable. And no one ever hears them too often!

 We’ll make no comments about the cursory thank you’s we occasionally see in some parish bulletins (better than nothing, of course) because we’d rather concentrate on the many gracious, heartfelt ones we see. Some of them are brief while others are lengthy, but all are warm and sincere. Perhaps some of the examples we’ve selected to share here will inspire you as they have us.

Once again our sincere thank you for your most generous contributions to the Gerry McKenna Tithing Ministry. We are constantly amazed at how the good Lord seems to work through you and all of us to keep this program going. You are wonderful and faithful and we are truly appreciative.
